Custom Feeds
Our specialty is formulating custom grain mixes to meet the needs of each individual farm. Here at Richer's we are able to offer our dairy feed customers the ability to review and balance their dairy diets using AAMPS (Amino Acid and Metabolizable Protein System). AAMPS, which is essentially a computer model of a cow digestive system, is a cutting edge method for evaluating and balancing rations for high producing dairy cows. Specifically, the AAMPS program tells us how to best balance the dairy ration by using the computer to model how the diet will affect rumen function and efficiency.

Mol Mix
Richer's also sells Mol Mix for the use in Heifer and Dairy rations either through the use of lick tanks or storage tanks. These molasses blends provide sugar, protein, vitamins, and minerals to an animal's diet, along with reducing sorting, and increasing palatability. A great addition to a Dairy or Heifer T.M.R.

Mineral Mixes
Richer's carries a full line of premixed minerals and also will formulate custom mineral mixes for individual farms or groups on farms. Richer's also carries a standard line of minerals that are denoted by their Calcium and Phosphorus levels and are available with medications as needed.

Heifer Feeds
Richer's heifer feeds are an economical blend of essential amino acids, energy, minerals, and vitamins to promote good health and encourage fast rate of gain. Both Richer heifer pellets are medicated with either Bovatec or Rumensin for an increased rate of gain and prevention of coccidiosis. The pellets are available in many protein levels to complement the forage program. The Elite line of pellets contains yeast to encourage rumen development and promote digestion.

Dry Cow Feeds
Richer Dry Cow Feeds were developed using New York forages. These feeds were designed to provide a unique blend of amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. Dry Cow feeds are formulated to minimize dietary cations (potassium, sodium, and calcium) and maximize intake of dietary anions (sulfate and phosphate). At the recommended feeding rate these feeds will supply at least 2,000 I.U. Vitamin E and .3ppm selenium. These pellets are very palatable due to the use of molasses and alfalfa meal. Refreshenator is Richer's dry cow pellet designed to fulfill the unique needs of a 40-day dry period.

Textured
Our textured starters are a highly molassified blend of flaked corn, oats, and pellets that contain a unique essential amino acid blend, high energy, and unique vitamin and trace mineral needs for a fast growing animal. All the textured feeds also incorporate yeast to encourage rumen development and promote digestion. The Starters are available in non-medicated or medicated, at a level that stimulates faster growth and prevents coccidiosis.

Ultimate Calf Starter pellets are formulated using ingredients that will promote increased rates of gain. Ultimate Pellets contain a unique blend of essential fatty acids and a unique carbohydrate that's proven to improve growth and starter intake. Ultimate Pellets are also formulated to address the unique vitamin and trace mineral needs of the fast growing animal. This line of pellets is medicated with Rumensin to stimulate increased rate of gain and for the prevention of coccidiosis in your growing calves.

An All-Milk product that is 20% Protein and 20% Fat that also contains Deccox to help prevent coccidiosis in young calves.
Richer 20-20 All-Milk with Neomycin and Oxytetracycline
An All-Milk product that is 20% Protein and 20% Fat that is medicated with Neomycin and Oxytetracycline at 400 g/ton and 200 g/ton respectively to aid in the prevention of bacterial scours.
Richer 24-17 All-Milk with Neomycin and Oxytetracycline
An All-Milk product that is 24% Protein and 17% Fat that is also medicated with Neomycin and Oxytetracycline at 400 g/ton and 200 g/ton respectively to aid in the prevention of bacterial scours.
